In recent history, few events have reshaped the course of our lives as significantly as the global pandemic that unfolded in 2020. Unfortunately, my design studio was not exempt from its impact. In March of that year, I had anticipated showcasing a runway collection featuring 21 distinct looks at the Brandywine River Museum of Art. However, much like the unpredictable nature of 2020, nothing unfolded according to plan. The following presentation was crafted in anticipation of that runway show that never came to be. For me, the runway served as a heartfelt love letter to cherished childhood memories—those carefree days spent splashing in the glistening creeks with my brother, the same creeks that meandered toward the Brandywine River.
