Inspired by the iconic book "Just Kids," I aimed to capture the liberated spirit of a woman dwelling in the Lower East Side. Delving into 1970s silhouettes and drawing color inspiration from Mapplethorpe's evocative floral photography, I sought to depict a flower child influenced by the raw, unyielding nature of the city.
